The Descent on the Lotus: Lahartara & The Arrival in Kashi
लहरतारा का कमल: कबीर साहिब का प्राकट्य, अबोध वाणी और काशी में आगमन
The Cosmic Vision & The Dawn Walk
सत्यलोक का प्रकाश और ब्रह्म मुहूर्त की पदयात्रा
The sacred full moon day (Purnima) of the Hindu month of Jyeshtha, Vikram Samvat 1455 (1398 CE). The holy ghats and earthen dwellings of ancient Kashi rested under the quiet blanket of midnight. The tranquil waters of the Ganga flowed silently beneath the shimmering stars.

On the grassy banks of Lahartara lake outside Varanasi, Sage Ashtanand, a senior disciple of Swami Ramanand, sat immersed in pre-dawn meditation.

Suddenly, piercing the heavens, a colossal pillar of pure golden-white light descended from Satlok! The divine radiance illuminated the entire lake brighter than ten thousand suns.

Sage Ashtanand opened his eyes, shielding his face in utter astonishment. He witnessed the celestial brilliance gently condensing upon the surface of the lake.
What transcendent light is this? Has the Supreme Light Himself descended upon this mortal earth?

Meanwhile, the youthful 20-year-old weaver Neeru was returning toward Kashi accompanied by his 19-year-old bride Neema after their Gauna (wedding) ceremony. In the cool morning mist, they paused near Lahartara lake to rest and refresh themselves.

Weary from the long journey on foot, young bride Neema walked toward the tranquil, cool edge of the lake to wash her face and quench her thirst, as the young couple looked forward to beginning their new married life together in Kashi.
Neeru ji, let us pause for a moment! The water of this lake is so pristine and cool; let us rest here before entering the city.
The Radiant Lotus & The Standoff
कमल पर नवजात और जुलाहा दंपति का तीव्र विवाद
As they reached the lake's edge, amidst the golden rays of dawn, a colossal hundred-petaled pink lotus blossomed in the center of the waters.

Resting serenely upon the lotus petals was a radiant, golden infant smiling with celestial bliss, his face emanating tranquil cosmic light!

The moment young Neema laid eyes on the child, her maternal love burst forth. Her earthen pot slipped from her hands, shattering on the stones as she charged into the water with outstretched arms.
Neeru, look! A piece of the divine moon is smiling upon the lotus!

Neeru panicked, lunging forward to grab Neema's arm and dragging her back onto the muddy bank, trembling with dread.
Stop, Neema! Regain your senses! What madness are you about to commit?!

Neeru shook with the terror of scandal and disgrace. Today was the very first day he was bringing his young bride home to Kashi!
Neema, think of what you are doing! Today is the very day of our Gauna—I am bringing you home for the first time! What will Kashi say? The whole city will mock us, saying Neeru brought home a new bride with a ready-made child! Society will spit on our names and excommunicate us!

Neema pulled against his grip, tears streaming down her face. In the presence of pure motherly love, all fear of worldly society dissolved like straw.
Let the council stone me! Let the community cast me out! I will die on this bank before I abandon this divine soul to perish in the wild!

A fierce standoff raged upon the shore—on one side stood the terror of societal disgrace, and on the other, the boundless ocean of motherly devotion.
The Miracle of the Speaking Infant
शिशु का दिव्य संभाषण और नीरू का समर्पण
Hearing their bitter quarrel, the tiny newborn infant upon the lotus turned his head. With a serene cosmic smile, he addressed them in a clear, divine voice!
O Neeru! Do not trouble your heart with the hollow fears of worldly men.

Seeing divine words flow from the newborn's mouth, young Neeru stumbled backward in the shallow water, his eyes wide in absolute astonishment.
O Almighty! A newborn infant... speaking the profound nectar of supreme wisdom?!

Infant Kabir raised his tiny hand in reassurance, unveiling the eternal mystery of his uncreated form.
Neeru, I am not born of any mortal womb, nor am I bound by flesh or karma. I am the imperishable light descended from Satlok to guide souls to liberation!

O Neeru, abandon all the worries of your mind. I have come from Satlok for the welfare of all living beings. Take me with you.

Neeru bowed low with folded hands in the water, his doubts shattered. Young bride Neema lovingly lifted the radiant newborn to her chest, wrapping him in pure unstitched white khadi.
The Mockery of Kashi & Arrival at Home
काशी में उपहास और गृह-आगमन
When young Neeru and Neema walked through the winding alleys of Kashi holding the radiant newborn infant, passersby stared in bewilderment.

News spread like wildfire through the weavers' colony that Neeru had returned from his in-laws with not only his young bride, but also a newborn infant! Neighbors and community elders swarmed the courtyard, laughing and jeering.

A sneering neighbor clapped his hands, mocking the young newlyweds in front of everyone.
Look at this grand wedding, brother Neeru! You went to your in-laws to bring home a bride, and on the very first day you bring home a ready-made son! Never in Kashi have we seen such a spectacle!

Kabir Sahib had arrived at his new home in Kashi, but now the greatest question arose: What will this divine newborn infant drink? Will this celestial child accept worldly milk? Find out in the next chapter—**The Miracle of the Celestial Cow (कामधेनु गौ लीला)**!
