On the eighteenth twilight, a colossal golden full moon rose over Chandravati. The matchmaker arrived with royal torchbearers and a gleaming golden chariot sent by Prince Gunashali!

Draped in magnificent solar saffron and royal gold silk with heavy temple jewelry, Prabhavati looked toward the door with a final, trembling hesitation in her heart.

She took a step toward the doorway under the brilliant full moonlight.

From his high golden perch, Shuka spread his emerald wings, his golden crest radiating divine spiritual majesty.

Prabhavati stopped, meeting Shuka's piercing amber eyes with profound emotion.

Shuka spoke with thunderous, sovereign authority:

"Listen to the ultimate truth of survival!" began Shuka. High in the rocky Vindhya mountains, a fierce, starving royal lion named Mahadanshtra crept into a deep dark cave at twilight, hiding in the shadows to ambush whatever beast returned to sleep.

At midnight under the full moon, wise jackal Jambuka returned to his cave home. He stopped dead at the entrance: fresh giant lion paw prints led **INTO** the cave, but **NOT A SINGLE FOOTPRINT CAME OUT!**

The clever jackal smiled cautiously, standing at a safe distance outside the dark mouth of the cave.

The jackal shouted loudly into the dark abyss:

Inside the dark cave, the foolish lion thought: *'This magical cave must speak to the jackal every night! If I do not reply in its voice, he will leave!'*

The foolish lion opened his massive jaws, roaring from the dark: **"WELCOME HOME, DEAR FRIEND! ENTER IN PEACE AND SAFETY!"**

The thunderous roar echoed across the mountain valley! The laughing jackal turned tail and sprinted into the safe forest: *"Who has ever heard of a speaking cave, O brainless beast?!"*

The hungry lion leaped out of the empty cave into the moonlight, left starving and humiliated by the jackal's sharp wit!

Shuka looked straight into Prabhavati's soul: *"The prince's flattery is merely the hungry lion roaring from the cave of ruin! He seeks only to devour your honour, destroy your husband's lineage, and cast you into disgrace!"*

The veil of romantic illusion completely shattered! Prabhavati gasped in profound realization, hot tears of awakening streaming down her cheeks as absolute truth flooded her soul.

Prabhavati stepped boldly to the palace brazier, casting every single letter, poem, pearl, and jewel from the prince into the roaring sacred fire!

She pointed her finger toward the gate, shouting at the wicked matchmaker: *"Begone, poison-tongue! Tell your prince that the wife of Madanavinoda belongs only to her husband and eternal dharma!"*

The terrified matchmaker fled into the shadows, and the empty royal chariot drove away in defeat into the night.

Radiant golden-amber dawn sunlight flooded the entire Chandravati skyline, illuminating the sandstone temples and marble mansions with celestial splendour!

Temple conches, sacred drums, and morning bells rang across the city in triumphant celebration!

Prabhavati knelt before Shuka's golden swing with folded hands and tears of supreme devotion: *"You are my true guru and savior! Through eighteen nights of perilous darkness, your wisdom has preserved my soul!"*

Shuka spread his emerald wings in radiant blessing, his golden crown crest glowing under the morning sun: *"Virtue tested and proven shines brighter than a thousand suns!"*

On the high palace balcony, Prabhavati stood peacefully with Shuka perched upon her shoulder—pure, triumphant, and waiting faithfully for her husband Madanavinoda's return!
